Witch Doctors (WDs) undertake a demanding 4-year graduate doctoral eduction program at our national college, as prescribed by our national curriculum (outlined below).

Alternatively, WDs with equivalent qualifications from other jurisdictions can undertake our challenge examination and become registered with CAWD. See our regulation page for details.

Entry Requirements

All WD program applicants must have completed a prior Bachelors degree. Any subject is acceptable. Fundamental (100 level) university science courses in biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics are required. However, as we generally disregard all science after the first year an exception to this requirement may be made on written request giving a rationale. A first year English composition course is also required for entry to our WD doctoral program.

It is through these exceptionally high standards that we guarantee superior academic and clinical preparation of our practitioners.

Witch Doctor National Curriculum

The WD curriculum represents the best in postmodern epistemological thinking. We adopt a wide diversity of both arts and science courses to prepare outstanding practitioners with diverse skills and talents. In our first year students undertake real science courses in order to demonstrate we are indeed, real scientists. Then we move on to demonstrate how such concrete and preposterous thinking is unnecessary in healthcare and move into the abstract and magical arts of health practice. By combining the two in our program and valuing both in oneness we prepare practitioners who are well versed in justifying just about anything. Our students have evaluated our rigorous program very highly, and we find the elective dance courses in the fourth year are particularly popular. A final practicum experience is undertaken supervised by a practicing WD.

The national curriculum is prescribed and regulated by CAWD, and University accredited by UBOS who undertake bi-annual accreditation visits (requiring not insubstantial fees).
